It's not just the SuperBowl any more. While I'm with the game purists, the reality is that the SuperBowl has become the MoneyBowl. It's not just the game, but everything associated with it in the preceding week, incredible amount of tourist and fan dollars. A lot of outdoor events, e.g., the NFL Experience, would be difficult if not impossible to hold in a cold (potentially snowy) outdoor milieu. Doubt ppl will spend as much a week before the SuperBowl in NJ / NY given the typical February weather in that area vs. NOLA, TX, AZ or FLA?
