I had a schitzo friend in high school who was fine as long as he took his anti-psychotics. We were at a party once after he'd decided to stop medicating, and he started asking people if they'd seen Jesus. When asked why, he responded that Jesus had just left the house and he needed to go follow him. We tried to stop him, but he ran out of the house, jumped in his car, and took off to catch the Lord.
No one saw him for 4 days, then he popped back up one morning before class, greeted everyone as usual, and went about his business like nothing had happened.

It's when he pops up 4 days later and his car has become a giant metal flower that you really need to start worrying. |
