Thatīs not all!
Even cards that DO have a CVV2 number donīt always work, because of that the bank system isnīt up to date with how it works!

Just look at all those people that have had problems with signing up for epassport! They require a CVV2, and the people that have tried to signup, with problems, say they put the CVV2 number, but still got denied. Itīs just because epassport has a very strict system reguarding CVV2, and most banks just donīt meet the requierments made by Visa
