TD Bank all the way.
I've dealt with all of them. I've had friends in University that
couldn't get a loan anywhere. I told them to go to TD and
open an account. Both of them got loans thru TD almost instantly.
TD is the 'new economy bank'. TD treats you amazingly, go
in any bank and you get respect... Go to CIBC and you're
a criminal no matter what. I fucking hate CIBC.. CIBC always
has 'stale' air in their banks.. i hate the environment.
BMO is terrible, CIBC is terrible, TD = No holds on checks, almost
instant credit (non-secured lines of credit), and numerous other
things. I especially like the Foreign funds transfer in Online Banking. No longer have to call anyone to transfer.
Also, get a TD Waterhouse account (You've seen the commercials I assume..) They give you Prime - 2% on your balances and you can withdraw it .. they don't ass fuck you.
Plus you can do your trading.. although I don't recommend it.. I've lost thousands learning the game heh. I know we all
have in the recent years but fuck me it sucks.
