American born and bred. Living in England now but as the language is meant to be the same I saw a valid point in
bitching about your improper use. Anyway, it wasn't a bitch about you personally, it was a bitch about Americans in general who don't seem to retain anything they learned about spelling and grammar while at school. This is why I said 'When will PEOPLE learn', not 'When will Jim Manly learn'.
And yes, it was a run on sentence but I can be just as guilty of those as anyone else.
BTW, is it that important to you that you 'win'? If so, I willingly concede. Nothing worse than a sore loser.
