R.I.P. Ronnie! I was in middle school back when Dio joined Black Sabbath and they released the Heaven & Hell & Mob Rules albums. What a voice, what a singer! One of the very best hard rock & metal singers ever. Then I discovered his older material with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow of the 70's. I was a huge fan for many years. Saw him play with his Dio band in Old Bridge, NJ back in 1997. I wish he would have written a book about his life & music before he passed. Ronnie's recording history goes back to the 1950s! He is truly a pioneer that witnessed and participated in every era of music from when rock & roll was invented.
