I bet 99% of all other officers would have responded with :
"It only matters that you know where you are going because it helps
me determine your purpose for entering the country".
And that would have been the end of it since the guy would have understood that.
The best officer would know the difference between "irate" people and terrorist.
A terrorist would answer all those questions perfectly with a smile and then
blow us all the fuck up.
Not to mention that the terrorist is actually slipping through while officers
are preoccupied with basically nothing but flexing for some guy who is nobody.
