Well any way you cut it, he is not wanted by the FBI in connection to 9/11, cause there is simply no proof. As far as that man confessing, america tortures people so that doesn't hold much water.
Also they will not have the trial for the mastermind in the US because, then they would have to prove that he was behind it, which is impossible.

The U.S. Government has a reward of 25 million dollars for Bin Laden...dead or alive...and the last I knew the FBI is a part of the Government. The "master mind" was going to be tried in New York...but heat was put on the Admin for that decision and even though New York has not been officially ruled out...they are supposedly looking into other venues but he may end up being tried by Military Tribunal.
