One example... Design and usability is going from mouse based to touch based. You have to understand and get a feel for what that is like and how to build products that implement that.

I used to do touch screen intergrations both on imacs and on some of the very first flat screen moniters which came out made by NEC. We would rip the bezels off, modify them to take the glass touch screen which connected to the controller. This was about 8 years ago and the company went backrupt because there just was not enough intrest in them. I wonder if this is a just a passing fad as it was back then.
