He also stated that the coral provides us with many of the meds we use (for cancer...aids...pain etc.)...something that I was not aware of at all...and that the death of the coral will affect the availability of the meds. He said that the damage that is being done by the spill and the dispersants is priceless and is going to be a major...major catastrophe...for hundreds if not thousands of years to come.
