Business is about cost vs revenue. If a video costs $1000.00 to make and generates $10,000 in revenue, then its a winner, regardless of semantics, theories and philosophies.

read up on the cycles of distribution, learn something about windows.
a person releasing a direct to video or internet production does not have the windows of a large studio nor the deep pockets, thus the porn video producer is far more vulnerable to theft and loss of revenue thru pirating, thus shap's analogy was apples and oranges.
