Pretty much. Usually what the government says is only partially true. Understandably so, because if they were completely honest with a lot of things, people would either a) revolt or at the very least b) vote the fuckers out. However, that doesn't mean that reptiles secretly rule the universe or whatever the fuck those morons think.
And as we all know.. job security is a big priority.
Taking what the government says hook, line, and sinker(or anyone paid by the government to be an "expert") is much more naive than someone whose skepticism may've took 'em off the deep end, imho.
