Considering the date of the original post and that they had to have known several weeks in advance of impending problems with visa looming, I wonder if his "come to terms" with happiness or what ever, was just him trying to convince himself everything would be ok even after the company implodes and some preemptive kumbayah shit to try to ease the soon to be upset affiliates.
