A bad budget and a bad financial position can be a bad thing, for example:some countries are overwhelmed with debt.

Having debt can put you in a black hole of misery out of which you never come out. Millions of dollars can make you a shining star.

You can also take other factors into the consideration, except profit, such as company reputation, ethical dilemmas, moral decisions, religion and basicly what your goals are.
