And Jim, I was in the middle of doing business with Frank when we went over numbers. Not hearsay, but real numbers.
Yes, I agree that there was a time when brick and mortar sales made a lot of folks rich. But that hasn't been the case in many years. And Mutt is right...no way this guy has an eight million dollar home that he is paying for with money made on DVD sales or even distribution on the net.
What's a top selling DVD pushing numbers wise these days? 15,000 units? 30,000 units? There just isn't enough money there to afford the same kind of homes that an NBA star player or a George Clooney stature movie star can do.
Even "back in the day" that would be a little too much. It's difficult to get a jumbo loan. They probe your asshole inside and out before they do that. It's not like getting a loan for a "normal" home. Once you go over a certain dollar amount the loan becomes "jumbo"
And all of us who have one know what you have to show to be able to get it, and what the limitations are. I had to have the kind of income I have monthly to get the dollar amount on the jumbo loan I have.
To get one that is eight times the one I have would have required me to have about eight times the income. I just don't believe that JJ is making several hundred thousand dollars a month PROFIT that he pays himself. That's insane.
And if he DOES make that much money...then I would like to apologize to you Mr. Jordan and offer my services.
