something can be coded that will look good in i.e. and shit in firefox, all you have pointed out is browsers render things differently
i could care less what goes on behind the scenes to make my browsing experience good.
i can tell you chrome and firefox don't always work , i.e. works more often. firefox is a mem hog and crash happy.
