People always project their own experiences onto others. Even I do so sometimes (sorry). There are all kinds of designers here on GFY "al capone" - expensive ones, 'cheap' ones, good ones, bad ones, reliable ones, flakes, those that can do both adult and mainstream, or just adult....
MetaMan says he ain't cheap, Zuzanna ain't 'cheap', Czarina ain't 'cheap', there are plenty of others who will charge $1000+ for a simple two-three page design. So if you're thinking about promoting this mainstream thing along with Adult then I think you made the right choice coming to GFY. Kind of like a crossroads. I'm also sure you have enough intelligence to look outside of GFY for your design needs and, being unsatisfied (not DISsatisfied) you figured you'd try here.
Why all the bashing? I don't get it. And yes, I bash in defense of someone who doesn't even know me, or prolly like me, or who thinks I, myself, am a dousche. Just standing up for someone seeking to HIRE someone, and in this financially-troubled times that's a GOOD thing. At least, better than begging for money/work, that is.
