We actually have safe guards in place to prevent that from happening like suppressions on current customers and also time suppressions so that it only appears on certain time triggers...When presenting a discount on month 1 and rebilling a full price the following months we have seen an average of 50% rebills into full joins...
I have some of our clients in the past years where we have recovered over a million more in sales with our systems. and their regular billings went up as well on the front end.
