These people are alone, cold, outside, hungry, and desperate. They lost everything they had, maybe even the love of their families. It's no wonder that some turn crazy, or get upset. It sucks to be them.
Do what I do. If you have some spare change and you want to help them out, give it to them. If you don't, make a mental promise to yourself to help in some way some time in the future.
