Not nessessarily, unless they have loading procedures & it is part of the job. Even then, most people that carry bags to a car for a person shall usually allow them to load the car or you can find a taxi likes to take the bags from the car & place it on the ground next to the car & like wise with packing
Truthfully chupachups, he was doing you a favour & I bet he feels awfull. I think maybe it is one of those things & maybe next time remember to load things into your car yourself
I once loaded a motor bike into the back of a van, my van, my mates bike. I was doing HIM the favour of moving it to his new address. As I closed the back, the handle bar popped the back window. I did not blame him as it was my van, my window & my fault that the wondow broke, even though I was doing him a favour
Next time anyone says, I can help. Accept the carry, but deny them the part of actually placing the item inside your vehicle.
