First of all..."the old days"? WTF? Are you calling me old?
Nah, seriously...you're right about that. His use of those terms do piss people off. But he's not alone on here for being a guy who pisses people off. I think you and I both have done our share of that without even meaning to.
When I met Barefootsies in person, he was courteous and respectful just like every person on here is in real life. And once we broke the ice and had a laugh or two...I demanded he call me "champ". lol
You know what I mean. Once you are comfortable with someone then it's okay to talk that way to them. I personally wouldn't call somebody "champ" or "toots" anymore than I would call them "son" or anything else like that.
But look at the rest of GFY...people are called "douchebag", "idiot", "tard" and on and on. I think we both know what we would do if someone we didn't know walked up to us in real life and said that to our face.
So all in all...I think it's just a case of "fun" for some people to attack barefootsies. lol
They know it will draw in some of the real people like yourself in the business who have a thing about his style of pushing his shit on the board.
I kinda enjoy watching it because it's entertaining. And it does get him some more business so it's win/win for everybody. The trolls have their fun, BF makes money, and the rest of us get entertained.
