In that respect I try and analyze the data sets presented to me without bias. For me personally, and being that I'm a Libertarian, I put individual freedom, liberties, and property rights above EVERYTHING else. This is a core value for me that I will never sway on.

REGARDLESS of the issue I apply only these core values. I don't care if it's the KKK wanting to hold a rally at the local park (which I would NOT want but it IS their right) or if it's raising minimum wage. I try and leave all personal attachments completely out of the picture. This is where I know I differ with a LOT of people, specifically those that lean to the left. For example in healthcare... I think cheaper healthcare and easy access for everyone is an AWESOME idea, I fucking LOVE it. However when I remove my own personal feelings from the issue what I'm left with is. How can it possibly be cheaper if you have to add a massive amount of overhead in order to regulate the healthcare industry... That really just means it's more expensive... ANY way you slice it. The money is moved around differently however so it makes it look cheaper. Before I get the "lower the cost by having everyone insured so ER visits by idiots aren't driving up the bills" speech. I'd like to say that I see that is an issue and something needs to be done... However something ELSE could be done to address that problem without putting in place more government regulation and more employees and more spending...

Hahha I know I just rambled on there but that's a little insight as to all of my posts in these little political debates. You can count on my stance never changing regardless of the content of the legislation ;)
