You know, it's not so much that barefootsies wants to talk about his business. I, for instance, am not posting in his business threads for the most part. While yes there certainly are a handful of people that turn up in every business thread he makes, both on the main forum and in the buy and sell forum, trying to stir up trouble.
I don't even care all that much about the see sig and all of that nonsense. It's easy to skip over his posts or if it really bothers people, put him on ignore.
It's the manner in which he purports to be an expert. Using terms like "sport", and "ace", and "toots" etc etc has no other purpose other than to try and imply some sense of superiority and that's absolutely ridiculous for somebody who's more or less peddling beginners packages to newbies.
Oh sure we've been told about the "program owners" and "industry leaders" that he's partnered with. He then goes on to list coders as support of this claim. With all due respect to Konrad, who IS a very good coder and a great guy to work with, he's hardly what I would consider an "industry leader". Perhaps in footsies mind these types of people are industry leaders but you know damn well that doesn't make it so. It's not like we're going to be seeing the Top Bucks, hahaha, Duke Dollars, Nasty Dollars, Bang Bros, FuckYouCash, etc, etc, etc barefootsies $3000 (on payments even!) tube hybrid site joining the network anytime soon.
Now Robbie we know you're a "man's man" and miss the good old days and all of that because you tell us all the time. So answer this question honestly: How would you treat somebody that held a conversation with you in a manner that was clearly meant to belittle you and build themselves up face to face? If say Pussyserver joined a conversation and started calling you "cupcake", "sport", "ace", etc etc? How would you react? I think you and I both know.
So a bit long winded but that comes to my main problem with the guy. I don't believe even for one second his akward ass would hold conversations with people in person in such a manner. As that's the case it makes him totally and completely disingenuous and that's a personality flaw too major to be over looked.
