I live in about 30 miles from Milford, and I just recently gathered my electric bills for tax purposes. My year total was $2,976.22.
Summer months the bill can be up to 500 bucks, depending on AC use. The best months (no AC or heat needed) are around 100. The worst is winter. I have electric heat, so I've seen $600 bills in January and February. Hope that helps, and I think if you implicitly don't trust her, your relationship has deeper problems than a suspicious electric bill.
