because it allows me to edit HTML and CGI direct on the server... I can do "open remote", "save as remote"... it keeps all my server passwords saved so I never have to FTP textfiles! No more FTP server timeouts Also it does color coding of Perl, PHP and HTML... it's a dream come true... Best of all it's free and only asks for money at startup... I should probably register it one of these days --
