It's a losing battle it seems

They try alternatives like salads and shit. People go to mc donalds for burgers not salads and grilled fish. They have never tried a 98% lean burger (real ground beef, can you believe it) and a slice of fat free cheese. If they offered that, I bet some people would buy it. Even if it was just 5% of the market, that is billions of dollars from people they are not making money off of now like myself because I wont buy their heart attack in the box. The people who want grease can still get it. I'm not saying replace grease, just offer a healthier burger and expand your market share.
something so simple and makes sense I don't understand why they don't do it. If they tried and no one bought it that is one thing but I don't believe they have ever tried this.
Also you have to advertise the hell out of it to let people know. If you simply put a healthy burger on the menu at a Mc Donalds and don't advertise it, ofcourse no one is going to buy it. The people already in line are there because they don't give a shit about their health and they want the grease. The people who would order it needs to know its offered for them to go to the store in the first place to buy it.
