Well first, I lived in LA when the riots went down and when things started to get bad the National Guard rolled in and remarkably it all stopped. Second, most of the rioting was in black or Latin neighborhoods and the majority of the middle class/wealthy neighborhoods went on with life as normal. Also, rioting has spread nationwide (before) when MLK was shot and most did not care if minorities burn-down their hood. Meaning, minorities burn their Cities down and the rest burn up a ballot box.
