I had a problem with 'Adult Links' being installed. It puts links in your favs and changes your toolbar in MSIE. The one I had was called QCBar and Adult links. It puts links in your favs under adult and sports. It came downloaded from:
mainentrypoint.com
You can't delete the active x script unless you stop the processes from running. But what process is it? They all have such f'd up names. I used Pest Patrol and it worked. I like Pest Patrol better than Spy Bot.
You can download it here:
http://pestpatrol.com/
But it gives you a free download and after you scan your whole system and it tells you where all this shit is, it says, you can't delete it with the free version. Then you go buy it and you have to run the whole scan again. Just buy it. The only thing I can't get rid of is this one 'trojan horse' file. I think it's quarentined but it won't delete.
Named:
js[1].js
It's a java script and I can't get rid of it. Any advise??? This Pest Patrol tells me I have no active key Loggers on the system, so that is helpful.
Anyway, about this Pest Patrol, I haven't had any new shit installed since I started using this. Make sure you increase the security on your browser. Don't let active x run unless you add the site to your trusted sites.
