Also something that I was just thinking about a little while ago is that I have internet protection on my cc that is supposed to prevent this kind of thing. The way it works is that anytime I use the card online Im temporarily redirected to a security page and have to input a password and confirm the transaction. This has always been the case even when my card is on file with a company like Moniker. Everytime I've renewed domains with them the card details are already in the system and I still have to put in the security code.
