True. The only reason im not posting it in public isnt the trolls, we all know that it makes absolutely no difference for someone that is really interested. If they are influenced by trolls and haters that dont even OWN their own biz i wouldnt sell it to them in the first place.
I know it sounds cheesy, to post a feeler thread. But honestly, im at that point that i need to decide to let it go and see it managed properly, or hire someone to manage it for me. And since im hesitant to hire more people to add to my company (i know it sounds fun to be a boss, but bossing to many people isnt what i consider the fun part of this biz), im leaning more and more towards selling it. Taking the money, and putting it in the project that we are focusing on now, and building that up is becoming more what i want to do every day. Managing more employees means more "people management" work, and to be honest im getting less enthousiastic about that part..
But you are right steve. I agree. Hope you understand my point, please bare with me, im not english ;)

I sold my tube pay site last week. It had nice sales stats and a 48% retention ratio. But few could afford asking price. I have sold plenty of other sites this year, and it took a combination of waiting, and negotiation to get them to close. You have many who waste your time.
You have to keep in mind that 93% of this industry, especially those on the forums, can't afford anything over $500.00. Out of that other 7% that can, maybe 2% is actually actively looking or buying.
Now, you take this economy and the glut on the market of people selling their shit off all trying to get at that 2%. Domains, empires, content, and whatever. All battling to get their goodies to that 2% who can actually afford it. You have longer and longer waits to close it out. Unless you go develop a market for your goodies. 
In closing, short answer is yes. There are still some people around who can afford things. But the higher the price tag, the more bullshit you have to deal with and the longer it will take to close it out.
