A couple major things I took from it all is :
Landscape vs Portrait -- Fluid css type stuff.
And to remember surfing on the ipad your using your finger and not your mouse
so instead of text or small text make sure its big and easy to hit with a fat finger
or change it to a button..
Things like that really..

makes sense. i'll wait to see what sort of traffic i'm getting from the ipad before i run out to support it in my designs. unless i was specifically building an ipad site, i wouldn't get too bent out of shape over designing with ipad usability in mind. Especially when the design already functions fine for the ipad. it's not quite like setting up amobile version for your site, where a normal design would be simply unusable and not optimized for viewing. A normal site seems to look just fine providing it's width is ok...
