Consumption Junction eats Steak and Cheese for Lunch..
ATLANTA, May 6, 2003 ? Consumption Junction, LLC. a leading provider of traffic for the Adult Internet, today announced the completion of its acquisition of SteakandCheese.com. The terms of the sale were not disclosed.
SteakandCheese.com has been in operation for over five years (longer than Consumption Junction) and attracts 1,500,000 unique monthly visitors. With regular content updates and several functionality improvements this number is expected to double within 6 months. As with ConsumptionJunction.com, revenue will be generated by selling high-quality traffic to the adult industry. The company plans to roll out a complete redesign of the site within 30 days. The design will keep the original feel to the site that the fans love but include a significant number of improvements in functionality.
?I'm extremely excited about this move. We've perfected our model of content archival and distribution and this is a great opportunity for us to apply it to a site that's already got a strong following. With this acquisition we can now reach even more surfers with our dysfunctional brand of entertainment. We will use this site as a test-bed for new functionality we've been planning to roll out on ConsumptionJunction.com. It's also a great opportunity for us to deliver even more high-quality traffic to the adult industry which can do nothing but help our bottom line.?, said Marc Womack, Chief Operating Office of Consumption Junction, LLC.
"From the consumer side, if ConsumptionJunction.com is like a car wreck on the Internet that you can't help but look at, the addition of SteakAndCheese.com is like a tractor trailer full of cows colliding into the wreckage. This might get ugly.", said Paul Dinin, Editor Grande of Consumption Junction, LLC.
This acquisition is the first of several planned for 2003 as Consumption Junction continues to expand its presence in the market. The company is actively seeking all sizes and types of adult entertainment companies to partner with in the coming year. "In my opinion, the 2003 year will see more consolidation in our industry than in any year past", said Rick Latona, President and CEO of Consumption Junction, LLC., "and we want to be poised to aggressively take advantage of these opportunities as they arise".
