Phelps is crazy, that's pretty simple. What I can't understand is why 31% of
Democrats would vote for Phelps as their senate candidate, or why Al Gore would
hang out with him. The guy holds up signs saying "thank God for dead soldiers",
at the funerals of our young heroes. You really can't get candidates a LOT
better than that? Sure Gore's kind of a militant on environmental issues,
having once wrote that people should blow up oil refineries, but he SEEMED like
a reasonable guy other than his environmentalist extremeism. Why the hell
would he pick Phelps as one of his electors?
Phelps being crazy is one thing, and I could understand Clinton and Obama
appointing those crazy judges if they simply didn't know how nuts the judges
were, but why the hell do you Dems CHOOSE to hang out with, and vote for,
piles of shit like Phelps? You really think he's a great guy?
