Not sure what you mean by deregulation, because we could debate endlessly on who create this whole mess. Furthermore, I'm wondering why that seems to be the only event that made you change your mind. I'm fiscally conservative as well btw. At any rate, you and I have ideological differences, but because you present your argument in a clear and concise manner, I have respect for you. YOu have to realize that for 1 of you, there are 99 others who are dumb beyond all belief.

I personally feel that organizations like the tea party and the rhetoric they use is lowering the level of discourse and respect in the US to some shocking lows. There have been worse in the past but never with the ability to reach so many so quickly and have such an amazingly negative effect. No one is taking responsibility about it either.
