The issue that arises with using SMS or phone billing is that many intermediaries have to come into play, from the actual phone company the end user uses, to government agencies and off course taxes such as VAT charges (as high as 25%) that is typically not charged through credit cards. That is why it seems that the sponsor may get sometimes less than 50% of the proceed.
As far as being difficult, it isn't at all. We are integrated into NATS, MPA, CCBill, STP back end, for the other, we have a simple script that can easily be installed. We also can work with anyone who may have a complex system and will make sure to follow through in order to make it work.
