When I was 16 we were taking baseball bats to mailboxes and doing donuts in people's lawns with our cars.
This wasn't "racism". It was a stupid prank by a punk kid. Not some calculated move by a white supremist group or a reflection of society
This is no different than if the idiot had set off a "stink bomb" or toiletpapered the parking lot. He just wanted to show off for his buddies and thought that would be funny.
It isn't funny. But to get arrested? For speaking words? A teenage prank gets you thrown in jail? The shit we did as teenagers was definitely criminal...but this?
Sounds like all the "bad" countries we learned about in school with their dictatorships. But now in the U.S. it's considered "normal" to throw people in jail for talking or for even thinking and/or writing or insinuating things that others don't like.
