It does actually work and the great thing is you can make it so that they cant even quote you on letters which really fucks them up if they try to take you to court.
There was a chap in the UK who had an arguement with Lloyds bank. Before it went to court he changed his name to "Lloyds Bank are a bunch of crooks". It pissed the bank off and the press had a field day as Lloyds banks solicitor had to continually say "Lloyds Bank are a bunch of crooks" through out the court case.
Lloyds eventually caved in and settled out of court.
