Sorry I offended you... I did see the movie... my review was that it's like an action flick more than an actual biography... It makes me realize how actual combat veterans must feel about some action flicks... I am not equating the two things because they are completely different experiences and I can't even begin to relate to that experience... however, you can make comparisons... just like real gang member might feel about gangbanger movies. In some way this movie in particular objectifies the experience and dramatizes it in a way that isn't really that entertaining to me. It is rather sad really... because it glorifies the main character in a way that some people will end up in prison because they saw that movie and thought it was cool to be a skinhead or involved in some bullshit like that. It's cool to be hard, you know.
In reality, he would have been someones bitch (either taking protection from an inmate or in protective custody) or dead over his actions in the movie. People get murdered, raped and extorted everyday in prisons... the ones who don't keep their mouths shut, mind their own fucking business, take care of business when necessary, don't deal with scrubs and deal square with people who have a reputation of dealing square. There are no friends in prison... there are friendly motherfuckers who will fuck you if it comes to you or them.
This business can be very similar at times... violence isn't always physical... There are way too many scrubs and friendly motherfuckers who will fuck you if it comes to you or them. There is almost always an agenda.
