It's best to divert it to a subdomain so you don't hurt your natural SE rankings on your site.

You can also add a disclaimer in your code to Google to let them know you are re-directing your mobile traffic.

Most mobile programs, including TopBucks, can make a whitelabel for you and bind it to a subdomain of your site. Best to use is usually mobile.sitename.com or m.sitename.com
