States can make there own set of standards, if people that live there don't like it, they can move or do something about it. Others in other states that like it can move there.

Texas has a better unemployment rate than most liberal states and after visiting Texas, I would have to say they are more patriotic than any other state in the union

California is a liberal state, we have a shitty education system. My daughter survived it. My nephew had a learning disability and had to move to Pennsylvania to find out about it. Now he's a straight "A" student.
