On new cars I'd say avg commision is between 150-500 and used is 300-900/unit. Most stores in the NY area are doing well. I know ones that are doing only 60/month and I know 2 that are pushing 350 and 600 on avg. Those are pretty nice stores.
Low end sales guys make 50-60k while the ones with talent and a following will easily earn 150k+++ One of my close friends has made 250k+ for the last 10 years. Crazy..

as you say yourself, easy as hell. fuck, i just sold a car on the internet a few days ago. 20 pictures, 2 videos and some clever text and had a bidding war.
