I would totally agree with you that it was a mistake, IF they had not tried several times to get this thing passed before everyone read fully.

this makes sense and a large part of me wants to agree.
that being said, i understand the bill is multi-thousand pages, very few within the beltway have read it through, but from all the info on the web and such, isn't the gist of the bill already exposed?
