I'm with Robbie, that HR was part of the Morgans group, a conglomerate that owned HR LV, The Shoreclub South Beach, The Mondrian in South Beach, and other boutique hotels in Scottsdale, London, San Francisco, and more.

Unless he owned major shares in the group, its unlikely his motive was a decrease in business. Vegas hurt more after 9/11 than now.

Most folks take their own lives because of personal desolation, who knows what demons were plaguing him. I hope he finds solace.
