Don't let the media confuse you with the sensationalism they've created about it based on the Tiger Woods thing. They need to create something intriguing about their story so they sprinkle it with controversy. In reality, it's cut and dry and not controversial and whether it's an addiction or not is easy to determine. In simple terms, if a person wants to quit, needs to quit, may face legal, social or personal health consequences if they don't quit, but can not quit... that's addiction. Do you think that there are people out there who engage in risky or illegal sexual behaviors that negatively affect their lives who want to quit but can't? There are. Therefore, sex addiction is real.
