I wouldn't go reading up on it much it will just scare you, then again you are asking on gfy so you must have tough skin.
I had a friend die of it recently so i will tell you what i know. If they catch it early alot of the time they can send it into remission with chemo or other drugs, it will often come back years later, some people have several bouts.
Look dont want to scare you so if so don't read further. My friend was normal guy, normal health, had a lump on neck ( lymph node ), doctor said it was nothing, went back , said it was nothing again , went for a second opinion they checked for lymphoma and sure enough it was. Cancer spread quick, within a month. 2 months he was bed-riden , 4 months he was gone. The lymphoma will often spread through the lymph system to all your organs.
Nobody wants to die and least of all know the timetable. Focus on staying happy and keeping your family informed and aware of how you feel. If it progresses badly you will get sicker and sicker until eventually they put you on morphine , once they do you wont be able to think correctly or tell your loved ones anything meaningfull, so do that part now.
Just out of curiosity , were you getting treated for hepititas before this happened ?
