But the Doctors Medical Malpractice Insurance wants him to run every test known to man in hopes that they will win the malpractice suit.
The only influence they have is a set of standards to use based on the problem. This is created based on the history of the issue, and clearly logical.

Other than some extra xrays... I don't know anyone that had a bunch or any 'extra' tests done on them, that they didn't actually need. I'm sure it happens, but it isn't something that anyone but doctors are responsible for and yourself, being your body you can say no.
