Those are brand new E2180 Servers, as far as support, its the same support model as softlayer. You get a control panel and all support issues are $5 each, and most get waived anyway.
Softlayers support is legendary. the $5 per ticket cost is just a control to prevent the host getting bombarded with a bunch of stupid calls and so clients stick to the real problems
