Tiger probably would have been better off just saying something along the lines of "this is a private matter, have the dignity to leave my wife and children alone.."
I don't think he needs to publically appologise to anyone. He needs to fire his entire team, from his agent on down, they totally fucked this up- made him look like a pussy and lost him millions.
I'm sure he will recover, but IMHO it would have been easier to recover from the cheating part of the scandal if he had just ignored it and not responded to the crazy allegations than it will be to recover now with all the groveling he's done.
