Unrelated to the religious argument, is it really true we can make gold?
I know we can make diamonds, but I don't think gold can be made synthetically.
Maybe... but this is the first I'm hearing about it.
I just read this online...
Gold is an element, as is carbon. Graphite is a form of carbon. Diamond is a form of carbon. Graphite and diamond are two different arrangements of carbon atoms. We can reform carbon from graphite into diamond, but there is nothing to reform to make gold.
