We shot these last weekend. I had been talking to Mini about a different project, and mentioned my upcoming Valentines-Chinese New Year project, and she said she wanted to do it, even though she's 100% (born in Japan) Japanese, since she had a Chinese dress (can't argue with model logic, LOL).
I had scheduled the other model, Sativa, to do a scenario with Mini around a calligraphy body-painting concept, and so we rolled them all up into an all day shoot.
Since this was Sativa's first photo shoot ever, she got to pick where to eat at afterwards, and being half Italian and half Japanese, she chose Italian (no Japanese restaurants were open at near midnight), so I took the whole crew out to Original Joe's - fun times...
